Besides a number of interactive sessions to explore specific TopTeam features we can present the following external speakers:

  • Murk Peutz as keynote speaker will talk about “Co-creation as innovation driver”. Meeting customer needs is the basis of every business success. These needs are however not easy to understand. Also, customer needs are evolving ever more rapidly, driven by ever faster technological developments and market transparency. Companies react by tapping more intensely into the needs and skills of their customers, but also by enabling themselves to become more adaptive and responsive to customers. Innovation within companies is therefore increasingly a “joint operation with the outside”.

Murk Peutz graduated from Delft University (1992) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Business Law degree (1997) from Leiden University. He started his international career in Industry in London with Tate & Lyle PLC in 1992. He continued working for that group in the Netherlands and later on in the Slovak Republic as director of a regional sugar refinery. In 1997 he moved into Management Consulting for The Boston Consulting Group. After five years of consulting, including an intermezzo at INSEAD (MBA, 2000), Murk moved back to Industry for Petroplus Engineering in 2002, running the department for international projects. In 2004 he took up responsibility for Innovation Consulting to Small and Medium Enterprises in the Southern Netherlands as regional director of the Syntens Foundation. In 2011 Murk set up a consulting firm, specialising in innovation management for SMEs and innovation policy. Murk is a non executive director of a biotech company and a private health Clinic in the Netherlands.

  • Technosolutions Corporation Chief Evangelist and Product Manager Ashu Potnis of will talk about the ongoing projects to further expand TopTeam capabilities. He will also demonstrate a preview of TopTeam 8. Ashu will be accompanied by a number of senior technical people from the TopTeam development team.

  • CFE is a multidisciplinary group, active in the PPP-concessions, construction, real estate, multitechnical, rail & road, and marine engineering sectors.  The group is located all over the world. CFE Nederland is mainly active as contractor in the Public Infra. Procesmanager Dennis Sommeijer explains how TopTeam is used within CFE to support their Systems Engineering processes in both tenders and projects in execution. These are mostly Design and build projects with often a lot of different disciplines involved.
Examples are given of the Technical engineering process but also how TopTeam is used to facilitate system-oriented contractmanagement items as riskmanagement, management of workpackages and management of the environment. TopTeam allows CFE to adapt the views and interfaces to the needs of the client and the team for every project. Maybe even a slight look into the future of what might be possible or could be improved.

  • ir. Vincent van der Meijden, director of engineering and consultancy company PACER has a lot of experience in the domain of requirements management and worked in large projects like High Speed Line South (HSL), A4 Delft Schiedam, the Gotthart Base tunnel. He often works as a systems engineer in these projects and many times is responsible for tool selection. In his current water systems renovation project at Rijkswaterstaat he uses TopTeam. Having now worked with it for almost a year he wants to share his experiences in his presentation “Scalable requirements management, from local counsil to megaproject”

  • Rene Meijer is Business Analyst of Information and Application Management Consumer Banking at NIBC Bank. He will explain how NIBC used TopTeam to manage the delivery of a new banking system by an external package supplier, how they managed changes and synchronized the way of working of the team.

  • iNFRANEA will present on the current developments in the industry where alfanumerical data more and more is integrated with 3D development tools. iNFRANEA combines three core disciplines for an efficient management of your building and construction projects from start to finish: 3D engineering, 3D visualisation en SE consulting. These are the building blocks of iBIM, their integrated concept for Building Information Management

  • TenneT is the electricity transmission operator in the Netherlands and a large part of Germany. They monitor the balance between the supply of and demand for electricity – 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. TenneT is responsible for the continuity of the electricity supply. Maarten van der Steen will explain how they closely cooperate with their building contractors to jointly develop new windmill parks and how TopTeam is used in support of this.
