Support for test protocols, instructions, execution steps and results
Cockpit includes rich features that include authentication and validation plans, requirements/test relationships, test execution workflow, and detailed test design and execution tracking. This helps you achieve the standardization and consistency that is crucial to the trust and success of your design.
Cockpit supports extensive test protocols, including test preparation, execution steps and expected results.
External Testing tools
Cockpit offers the possibility to link to external testing tools and databases. Store test protocols and results in Cockpit or connect to external test systems. Results can be included in Cockpit or simply linked.
Cockpit allows teams to create complete test protocols that can be linked to requirements. Test libraries are automatically generated during the writing of tests, allowing for easy reuse (e.g. “Login”).
Define multiple milestones for running tests in each protocol, such as “Phase 1”, “Phase 2”, “Product Release”, etc. All text can be generic or milestone specific. Reuse the document to meet the current milestone. Manage all milestone tests via Cockpit’s built-in workflow.
Centrally recorded results
Cockpit captures the results of each test execution. If a test verifies more than one requirement, the results for each requirement are recorded and clearly presented, without restriction. This information is then reported and shows the completeness of the test for each stage of development.
Test Management Functionalities
- Test preparation
- Acceptance criteria
- Execution steps
Show all milestones and results for all execution runs/milestones at the same time.
Cockpit’s “dashboard” features provide an overview of all related information and the latest status.
