TopTeam helps you to make top-quality specifications
Specifications of your product are drawn from all sorts of stakeholders and disciplines. They include not only different types of requirements, but also descriptions of your product, usage scenarios, risk analyses, supporting documents, work packages, test results, and much more, with the necessary interrelationships.
The specification of a product contains all sorts of information elements. To be able to record this information you need powerful tools. In many cases, you also want to be able to take along the specific and sometimes unique information from your own organization or project.
For all disciplines
Developing a product or system is teamwork. This means that everyone in your team should be able to add their information as needed, as well as find and reuse information from others.
Quality and consistency
“Rome is not built in one night”. The specifications of your product are also gradually being developed and expanded. With sometimes large teams working together on something, at a certain moment you want to achieve a consistent and high quality whole. You want to get a grip on quality and also measure whether you have achieved the required level at any time.
We are all working on the same goal: the creation of a fantastic product! Once we are done, more teams are likely to work to deliver their contribution to the product. Important, therefore, that we can share the information easily.
TopTeam includes a large amount of information elements out-of-the-box. As needed, you can customize the data model live, including attributes. You can determine what should be available for each project.
Provision of this also means that the editors involved are automatically activated. TopTeam supports both the ultimate delivery of specifications but also the management using “work packages” or “backlog items”.
This creates an integral “workbench” in which all your team members can capture, find, improve information and collaborate on the desired end result.
Within your project different roles exist. All team members have basic read access to all the information in the project. With extensive search and filtering capabilities, you enable anyone to easily search for the information they want. Depending on the role, assigned rights determine what information may be changed. TopTeam functionalities that are irrelevant to a particular group can be removed from the UI based on profiles. Not everyone is a specialist, but people on the periphery of the project can also access and disclose information via a Web application. Where necessary, you can involve these individuals to perform reviews and link their feedback back. Dashboards display the progress of the project by numbers and graphically, and then you can simply click through to go to underlying the details.
When developing excellent systems a good quality of specifications is a prerequisite. You only want to forward information in the chain when you feel good about the quality of your specifications. In TopTeam this is perfectly supported by defining life cycles in record types, project and record type-specific reports and by defining review procedures. Depending on the current status of a record, you can enforce information capture. Through powerful reports identifying where essential information is lacking and by sending review packages from TopTeam, you involve stakeholders and you can get people’s feedback via a variety of collaboration features and inform them on what is happening with the specifications.
